Baking Christmas cookies is one of the civilizations that can really quickly spin out of control. This year, I think I finally figured out the perfect solution. I am sticking to a cookie plan that only involves 2 recipes, that are all in pretty shades of reds so the cookie plate will look amazing, the cookie making will remain under control, and the mixture of tastes will make everyone thrilled.Here are 2 shades of red cookie plan for 2018. It’s going to be a sweet one!
Peppermint Kiss CHRISTMAS COOKIES
To make the peppermint kiss cookies you will require:- ½ cup butter
- 1¼ cup powdered sugar
- One tsp peppermint extract
- One tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 2 cups flour
- 1 bag unwrapped candy cane peppermint kisses
Instructions
- Set oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream the butter and the sugar, peppermint extract, vanilla, and egg.
- Mix up the baking soda, baking powder, and flour in a separate bowl.
- Insert the dry ingredients to the wet until the cookie dough is a stability that can be easily rolled into softballs.
- Put rolled balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cook in the oven the cookies at 350 degrees 7-9 minutes until the base of the cookies are lightly golden.
- While the cookies bake, take away the wrapper from the peppermint kisses.
- Eliminate the pan from the oven and right away press a kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Place freshly pushed cookies in the freezer for a rapid 5 minutes to set the cookie. Set aside to finish cooling on a wire rack.
Cherry CHRISTMAS COOKIES
To compose the cherry cookies you will require:- 3/4 cup softened unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 Tablespoon maraschino cherry juice
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 16 maraschino cherries (or your own branded version)
Instructions:
- Shake the butter, sugar, vanilla, and almond dig up together.
- Combine in the cherry juice and bang until collective.
- Include the flour and blend well to form the dough.
- Pot in the chopped cherries and hand stir softly until they are well mixed in.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours in the fridge.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking dishes with parchment paper.
- Roll the dough into 1 tablespoon balls and place on baking plans.
